How does Credit-IQ handle bad debts or uncollectible accounts receivable?
Credit-IQ supports the full collections process for overdue invoices. When internal collection efforts are unsuccessful and an invoice remains unpaid, the debt can be escalated to Atradius Collections for professional debt recovery.
Credit-IQ enables this escalation through workflow automation, including the automatic generation and sending of a Final Demand Letter (FDL) as a final payment request before referral to collections.
Typical process:
- The invoice becomes overdue and enters the collections workflow.
- Automated reminders and collection activities are initiated through Credit-IQ.
- If payment is still not received, Credit-IQ can automatically send a Final Demand Letter.
- Unresolved cases can then be referred to Atradius Collections for debt recovery.
This process helps organizations manage overdue receivables efficiently while providing a effortless transition from internal collections to external debt collection when required.
